San Diego Volunteer Training Event

This is a Free Training Event from 9am-2pm (breakfast & coffee included)

If interested in volunteering, Volunteer Shirts will be available for purchase of $25.00 at end of event. Training Materials Needed for Future Volunteers will also be provided at no charge.

At this Training Event, CRPA will be covering the following…

What A Basic Volunteer Entails:

• Expectations

• Responsibilities

• Areas to volunteer and events (This will also include job/volunteer descriptions)

• How to get payed as a volunteer and or become a Recruiter/Area Coordinator

• Understanding County Groups- Purpose and Outreach opportunities

• Information on Gun Laws and Legislation

• How to Represent CRPA and understanding CRPA’s Mission

Gun Shows, Trade Shows, Range Events, Youth Events:

• Setting up a booth correctly

• Coordinating with Show Representative and CRPA Field Representative

• Communicating with members and the public

• Selling Memberships & Merchandise

• Working with Ranges, Youth, RSOs, Instructors, etc..

Fundraising Events:

• Assisting CRPA Staff in set-up/tear-down for Event

• Helping run games, auction and raffle Prizes

• Event Registration

Instructors for Training:

• NRA Instructors; Shotgun, Pistol, Rifle, Hunter’s Ed, Home Protection, etc…

Medical Personnel Volunteers

• Medics

• CPR

• First Aid
